Reasi admin gears up to implement Town planning scheme in Ransoo
DC discusses execution plan with stakeholders
REASI, MAY 21: To discuss the execution plan for the implementation of the Town Planning scheme in Ransoo town, District Development Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal, who is also Chairperson of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Development Board, chaired a meeting of stakeholder departments and local public here at Shiv Shakti Bhawan.
  Pertinent to mention here that the  Ransoo Town plan scheme has been recently notified by the government. The town plan scheme was briefed in detail by the Assistant Town Planner & general public of the area were made fully aware in this regard. They were told about the benefits of the town plan scheme, the main objective of which is to facilitate the pilgrimage in a much better way by minimizing the congestion & providing advanced modern facilities like accommodation, hotels, parks, parking, recreation facilities, eating points etc. The map of major/main roads were shown to the public.  PWD, Revenue and Town Planner were asked to conduct & complete the survey within one month. It was informed that the scheme also envisages provision of Pony shed & Veterinary Hospital to benefit the pony walas  operating in Shrine area.
The General Public was asked to co-operate with the administration in the execution of the plan for its timely completion.
The meeting was attended by BDC Chairman, DDC member, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Reasi (Executive Officer SSKSB), Executive Engineer (R&B) Reasi, Assistant Director Tourism Katra, Tehsildar Pouni, Ransoo besides PRI members & large number of local inhabitants participated in the meeting.
